Easter Long Weekend – Saturday 3rd April

Lot’s to see and do in the district this Easter weekend.

Car lovers can also get their fix with the Bathurst Motor Festival this long weekend. There will be up to seven categories for cars racing in circuit events and more than 300 entries are expected. Proceeds will be donated to Legacy. For more information, head to bathurstmotorfestival.com.au

Rockley will host a Sheep Dog Trials competition, with dogs competing in an obstacle course in encourage, novice, improver and open categories at the local Showground from 7am.



The Oberon Tablelands Way Farmers Markets are on again, with around 30 stalls selling some of the region’s finest produce. There are also delicious freshly baked bread and cakes to sample, as well as hot coffee and delicious bacon and egg rolls on offer!

Held in the St Barnabas Anglican Church grounds.

Foodies can enjoy a degustation lunch at Mayfield Garden today – with a menu created around the local harvest, along with local wines, live music and an artisan performance.

Sunday 12th April

The iconic Canowindra Balloon Festival kicks off today, with balloons set to take to the skies and flying events to continue throughout the week.

Monday 13th April

Molong will host the 100 Mile Dinner as part of Orange’s annual F.O.O.D Week. Guests are invited to dine, under the stars on the Village Green in Molong on food and wine sourced from Orange, Bathurst, Molong, Mudgee and Cowra.

Friday April 17th

Thousands are expected to flock to Bathurst Showground for the historic Royal Bathurst Show this weekend.

Support local farmers are shop at the Cowra Farmers & Craft Market/Trash & Treasure, Bric-a-Brac sales this weekend.
