8th – 11th of October: V8 Supercars Supersheap Auto Bathurst 1000 (Bathurst)
The biggest day in the Australian motorsport calendar is here! Witness when history is made in the legendary endurance race and nail biting last lap. Prepare yourself for the heart-stoping atmosphere and come out to Bathurst’s very own famous Mount Panorama for The V8 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. 16th of October – 1st of November: 2015 Wine Festival (Orange)
The 10 day wine festival is back for 2015. Held in various locations in and around Orange, the festival features over 100 individual events. Come and experience days of beautiful wine tastings, shows, tastings and educational workshops celebrating the region’s premium and local wines. 3rd to 5th of October: AH&P Spring Show and Country Fair (Bathurst)
Enjoy equestrian shows, livestock expo, skill workshops, fresh regional produce, craft exhibitions and carnival entertainment at The Spring Show and Country Fair. Held at the Bathurst Showground and Pavilions, the best of region’s agricultural is on show across this October long weekend.
9th of October: Bathurst Bicentenary Gala Ball
The Bathurst community sure knows how to have a good time and this years bicentenary celebrations have proven it, so why not finish with a bang? To celebrate and officially close the Bathurst’s Bicentenary, a gala ball will be held in place of the traditional V8 Ball. This formal black tie event will be located in the grounds of the historic Bathurst Court House and on King’s Parade. With music and drinks on arrival, followed by a divine dinner produced by the regions best food and wine, there is no reason not to attend this elegant evening out that everyone will enjoy. 18th of October: The Great Race Street Fair (Bathurst)
Looking for a great day out for the whole family? This month everyone is invited to a day full of fun and excitement. Come on down to The Great Race Street Fair held in Kings Parade in Russell Street between 10am and 4pm for fun games, face painting, live on-stage entertainment and, food and market stalls.
7th of October: Circus Oz 2015 at Bathurst
This month brings a treat for the whole family. The famous Circus Oz and their beloved international tour are coming to Bathurst! Audiences can expect a mix of breath taking stunt-jumping acrobatics, cutting-edge juggling, virtuosic unicycling, elegant trapeze flying, cheeky impersonations, ridiculous knockabout and multi-skilled human physical exuberance, all accompanied by an original, rocking eclectic live band. Held at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (105 William Street) this show will leaving you holding on to the edge of your sit, So don’t miss out. 17th of October – 1st of November: 2015 Oberon and villages spring festival of Open Gardens (Oberon)
Spring is a beautiful time of the year and this month the Oberon region is ready to show it off.
