Bathurst Region What’s On – June Long Weekend 2015
With so many great events on the June long weekend (6th~8th) we’ve put together this special “What’s On” to make sure you don’t miss anything that’s happening in Bathurst, Blayney, Oberon, Cowra, Molong and the surrounding regions. Get out there with the family and have some fun!
June 3~8 (Wed~Mon): Circus Royale – Bathurst
Roll-up, roll-up! Damian Syred’s all new Circus Royale is in town! Under the Big Top this long weekend you’ll be able to see clowns, acrobats, animals, contortionists, footy playing dogs and the amazing Globe of Death! So grab the kids and head on down to the Bathurst Showground on Kendall Ave. Click here for more info on prices and show times.
June 7 (Sun): Bonfire & Fireworks Spectacular – Wyangala Dam
Just down the road from Cowra at Wyangala Dam next Sunday the sky will light up with an awesome Bonfire & Fireworks display. Prior to the fireworks at this community event though during the day, there’ll be golf and barefoot bowls, and a fishing competition that runs over the weekend. Why not take the family down for a relaxed afternoon of fun at the dam and then stick around for the night time display at Matt Morrison Oval.
June 4~8 (Thur-Mon): Henry Lawson Festival – Grenfell
2015 sees 58th anniversary of the Henry Lawson Festival, which is held in Grenfell each year. Art lovers return each year to Lawson’s town of birth, to celebrate works produced not only by the bush poet, but modern artists and performers from the local community & surrounding regions, as well as further afield. There’s rides for the kids, street performers and buskers, as well as an art display at the Grenfell Gallery, and a colourful street parade. Check here for more info.
As you can see, there’s tonnes going on next weekend in the Bathurst, Blayney, Cowra, Oberon and Molong regions. If you’re looking to buy, rent or sell in our awesome community, why not stop by one of our offices and say hello to our friendly team. We’re always here to help with all your property and livestock needs.
